"SAUDADES DO TOM" is a tribute to the famed
Brazilian composer António Carlos Jobim.
Gonzaga
Coutinho performs in an intimate musical style, inspired
by his african, portuguese and asian roots, which brings
different musical readings to timeless classics such as
Garota de Ipanema, Dindi, Samba do Avião, Triste,
Corcovado, and others by the Brazilian maestro.
This
15 song project, is notable for being sung in Portuguese,
with the contribution of the Portuguese fado guitar of
Filipe Lucas. There are also duets with Rui Veloso, Ivan
Lins, and Sofia Vitória.
Live,
Gonzaga Coutinho is always accompanied by excellent and
highly respected Portuguese musicians.
